What time of day should I take Flonase? ›

Adults—At first, 2 sprays in each nostril once a day. Some patients may need 1 spray in each nostril 2 times a day (morning and evening). Your doctor may adjust your dose as needed. Children 4 years of age and older—At first, 1 spray in each nostril once a day.

You'll usually use the spray once or twice a day (once in the morning and once at night). The usual dose is 1 or 2 sprays into each nostril. Follow the instructions that come with your nasal spray. Do not use more than the maximum number of sprays in 24 hours.
