Restaurant Brings Approximately 120 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community,Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Entrées for a Year

SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 27, 2023) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Cibolo community on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Tyler Haile as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Cibolo.

Located at 885 Cibolo Valley Drive, Chick-fil-A Cibolo will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, mobile ordering and third-party delivery from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Cibolo can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, Chick-fil-A One members receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards. Chick-fil-A Cibolo is one of five upcoming Chick-fil-A restaurants opening in the greater San Antonio area, with each restaurant uniquely designed to best serve its neighborhood. opened earlier this month, and there are still more to come!

Combined, the five restaurants will add more than 500 full- and part-time jobs to the community.

In honor of the five openings, Chick-fil-A, Inc. is donating $100,000 to the San Antonio Food Bank on behalf of the new restaurants. These funds will be distributed to local food shelters to aid in the fight against hunger in the city.

In celebration of the Cibolo opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of San Antonio Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.

These five restaurants join 37 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider San Antonio market.

Locally Owned and Operated
As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators proudly reside in the communities in which they serve.

In Cibolo, Haile will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members, serving Guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.

Haile opened his first restaurant, Chick-fil-A Schertz, in 2014. Since then, the restaurant has been an integral part of the Schertz community. Now, with Chick-fil-A Cibolo opening just four miles down the road, Haile looks forward to reaching more members of the community and increasing convenience for Guests with his two restaurants. Haile will continue to operate Chick-fil-A Schertz alongside the new restaurant.

“I am looking forward to growing Chick-fil-A’s presence in the suburbs of San Antonio and continuing to express care to my Team Members, Guests and the community,” said Haile. “I am grateful to be able to provide opportunities for the city of Cibolo as well as new members of my growing team.”

Caring for Cibolo Community
In addition to the Feeding America donation, Chick-fil-A Cibolo is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the San Antonio area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.

Haile’s restaurant will plan to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 23 million meals have been created from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations from nearly 2,000 Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the U.S. and Canada.
